Taking Off

I see your plane taking off in the sky,

Wave my hand and say goodbye.

The silhouette against the sunset of New Jersey,

Past few months, now so blurry.

A voyage taken,

We just passed the bailsman.

Some day you may discover,

Love for you is my greatest gesture.

You missed an opportunity,

My heart now so crushed and bloody.

Never spoon again,

Not even on December ten.

The end has come after eight,

Unless magic can happen after you vacate.

Time ran out, time did fade,

Love like this should never be delayed.

Paralyzed love is not conscious,

Lovers have been left breathless.

You have left me vacant,

From my heart you are now absent.
