Flowers or Chocolates

Diamonds or Lingerie

400 Thread Count Sheets

Or A Fancy New York Dinner

All I had to purchase,

Like every Valentine’s Day,

Every year,

Is a new heart,

To replace my constant broken heart

To replace my heart that aches

every day to be in love.
